Cook your leek greens and make a veggie pasta!
Coolest #KitchenTip I learned yesterday at @Feedback #Feeding5000NYC event. The Chef at Egg said that you can boil your leek greens "like a pasta". Just separate them, rip them with your hands, mak...

munchiemummy Such a great idea! I have used them in soups before but this sounds like the next generation of "zoodles" it's such a good idea.
-
etsummer Ha I have so many leek greens in my freezer waiting to be used to make veg broth but this sounds like such a better idea since I can't seem to find the time to actually make it!
-
JenniferEmilson I freeze mine for when I make veggie stock! #FoodRevolution
#Kitchentip : exchange cooking ideas with friends& family to trigger ideas. My aunty showed me how to make Lions's tooth jam. Stay tuned!

Another #kitchentip for rice! Use leftover rice to make a quiche crust. #nofoodwaste
Just mix with parmesan, egg white, salt and pepper. Pre bake for a bit to set the crust then fill with your favorite quiche combo. #FoodRevolution
-
munchiemummy Genius! I actually have overcooked rice leftover from dinner tonight (got distracted by baby, rice turned to mush! 😝) - and we love quiche in this house!
-

Papaya Beauty💛 there are many ways to use papaya and even the seeds can be used to make seasoning, which I will try out. #nofoodwaste
-
sugardetoxme Let us know how the papaya seed use goes. Always hate throwing seeds in compost. When you do it mark #kitchentips so we can find it!
-
garv Raw papaya is a super meat tenderiser & all natural at that !#kitchentips

carpe_deli Will do @sugardetoxme !

-
lauren Yes! What's the best way to prepare? I've been intimidated
-
LesleyRozycki It was actually my first time making them (I was recipe creating and taking photos for a company's website). So after some research, I learned that you must boil them (I did it for about 8 mins)...

munchiemummy I wish I could get some where I live! I love pickled fiddleheads
#kitchentip for a #meatlessmonday salad- fry up some spicy chickpeas with paprika and cayenne as a salad topper
Iron Horse
Make these ahead of time and top your salads, grain bowls, or just eat them as. Here's a good recipe of them http://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/fried-chickpeas
One of my favorite #kitchentips - cook your rice in coconut milk!
Here with brussels, tofu, avocado, a soy/sesame/ginger/garlic sauce. The coconut milk makes the rice so so so creamy and delicious, and gives the nicest subtle hint of coconut taste. #FoodRevolution
-
gingerandchorizo What ratio of coconut milk and rice? I have tried a couple of times but always turn out soggy 😰 your one looks perfect!
-
annefood Yes SO good!!
