Quick question should I count the Snapple I drink if I'm doing the soda challenge?
7yr Milwaukee, WI
  • annefood Hey @itscheezybabay ! Great question. Since Snapple is a sugar sweetened drink (or artificially sweetened for diet) you should count it as a soda.
  • itscheezybabay @annefood so I should just drink water during this challenge
  • DietID_TeamDietitians Yes definitely drink water during the Challenge. You can also drink seltzer if you're craving a fizzy drink, but be sure to get plain seltzer or naturally flavored seltzer like Poland spring lemon,...

What do y'all like to drink in to replace sofa?
  • annefood Hey @maddiedod ! Have you tried drinking sparkling water with copped fruit in it? The fruit flavors the water, plus you get a little treat at the bottom of the glass :)
  • maddiedod Sounds good @Annefood

If I want to bake something sweet in less calories, what can I do? For example, replacing milk with water etc.
7yr
I've already tried replacing milk with water, eggs with that Semper's No-Egg-thing, and sugar with less sugar or sweetener.
  • darkchocolatepeanutbutter Most baked goods are calorically-dense even if they are made without animal products so it's good to eat an appropriate portion. You can use substitutes for regular milk like soy milk or coconut...
  • annefood Hey @Uber - It's important to remember that calories alone aren't the key to good health. And replacing whole food ingredients with artificial ones can often lead to other health problems, and...
