Food writer Bee Wilson believes that it's easier to connect over junk food than home cooked food from our childhoods. I though this was an interesting idea from her book First Bite. What do you think?

Favorite memory by far was sneaking to dunkin' donuts to get a donut with leftover allowance money. I did this way more often than I'd like to admit.

I thought taco bell was totally appropriate to eat, so my friends and I would go after a movie, or before a movie, or sometimes before and after a movie all the time. I associate it now with a time in life that was totally care-free, that will probably never come back again.

@Rachna @Brianne Sounds so fun! My mom and I used to go to McDonald's during the summer, get Oreo McFlurries and eat them outside. I haven't had one in awhile but I might have to relive a memory ;)

When I was young my friend and I would sneak off from church service and into the kitchen to steal the donuts meant for afterwards haha. Always remember that.

I'm glad the point is made about how your body absorbs nutrients, like vitamin D. Just drinking water with extra vitamins doesn't help you as much ingesting it with a full meal.
