sugardetoxme Will you post their next upcoming baking classes @MrsXtina ??
Picked up dried mulberries the other day here in Vancouver. What to do with them! I have some ideas, but welcome more suggestions!
-
sugardetoxme I'd love to know what to do with mulberries. Maybe a homemade granola?
-
SimplySeema Love mulberries! I love adding the fresh ones into homemade raw chocolate. It's a delicious sweet surprise. Imagine it would be great mixed in with nuts, cereal or even cookies! What are your ideas...

JenniferEmilson I've only ever had them fresh. These have a slight crunch, like figs. I'll either use for granola or porridge topping, or else I'll reconstitute them in safer for baking.
A twist on traditional carrot cake. If you think you hate beets, try these.

DietID_TeamDietitians Genius recipe. I love carrot cake so much but sometimes am looking for a new kind of sweetness

-
DietID_TeamDietitians Ah good to know... Have you tried mixing beet and carrot?

-
annefood That's awesome, Shannon! Zucchini and tomatoes are notoriously "wet" and are some of the more challenging for frittatas. Don't be afraid to get some color on the zucchini when you sauté it...
-
shannonvittoria Thanks @annefood! Any good recs for less "wet" veggies?
-
DietID_TeamDietitians Yep Anne is right with the wet veggies. Good frittata additions that don't make it too wet - any greens, mushrooms, broccoli, and potatoes are a nice addition for some starch
How's this for a #Paleo breakfast? Casa de Aguilar can serve all types of nutritional styles. #DayOffBrunch

This needs to be plastered to my fridge! I second the experimentation with chickpea flour. In case you want to fry things (if you're feeling indulgent) it's the best flour for the batter. And also...

TigerNut flour from Brooklyn! Who knew?! I also love chickpea flour but have never used Amaranth- I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for this, Larissa!
