#NoFoodWaste This is my take on Charlie Bird's Farro Salad. Had to try it after @lauren's post :) Unfortunately, I couldn't find #farro so I opted for some rainbow quinoa. The salad itself was A+++...

Brianne I've been getting so much asparagus the last couple of weeks, so this is a great recipe. And I love the 'preparation' =) it's so simple!
-
AugieTreatsGranola I make a similar salad but also add cilantro and lemon. You're right. It really makes you feel great! Thanks!
-
irobbedafarmer @AugieTreatsGranola I love cilantro. Will add some next time. Is great as a heavy metal detoxifier and supports the liver. :).

LesleyBL I love baked eggs in bell peppers!
Not sure what to do with your leftover herbs?
A fun way to utilize all of your herbs is to chop them up, put them in an ice tray with olive oil, and stick them in the freezer (yes, olive oil will freeze!). Next time you are making pasta, add t...

BobDale This is brilliant @EvaLouise. I am going to try this.
Leftover breakfast and I just so happened to have some bacon from this weeks market . Beyond amazing.
-
manfood It's from http://www.oldeforgefarms.com/ soooo good. I cooked 4 pieces.

Brianne I know your post is about bacon, but I looked at the website, and the pig photos are absolutely adorable!
Had some squishy zucchini so whipped up this veggie tagine with #sustainable cod!
It's a great one-pot recipe, great for a plant-based diet, and it's up on my blog! Link in my profile. #NoFoodWaste
#nofoodwaste clobbered together dinner. When in doubt, make a burger!
I literally cleaned out what was left in the fridge, added some spices, made patties, and cooked! So easy! Made with corn, kale, zucchini, chile, ginger, whole wheat flour, cumin, turmeric, onion, ...
Podding fresh peas: so laborious, but so rewarding.
I have never appreciated frozen peas more until I podded all of these peas for dinner tonight, one by one. But they're so delicious that it's totally worth every minute. #seasonal #local #NoFoodWaste

etsummer Have to say I've never done this, looks so beautiful and fresh though! What do you do with the pods?
-
DietID_TeamDietitians I used to do this with my mom. It took forever, and I probably complained when I was younger, but it is so therapeutic!
-
munchiemummy @etsummer the pods make an amazing soup, or I add them to my smoothies (need a powerful blender for both, but it liquefies them just fine!)
The cutest little baby broccoli heads just harvested at @skylightfarm!
Don't throw away your broccoli stems--just peel, dice, and cook! #NoWasteNovember #NoFoodWaste
