Smaller portions. Fuller mind.

I grew up eating generous portions of meat so when a friend invited me to dinner for "steak", I was picturing a hearty porterhouse. To my surprise, she served a "strip" similar in size to my salmon with a hearty side of salad instead. She told me how she bought the beef from a local farmer and her adventures in reversing the American ratio. Now I also try to have my vegetables outweighs everything else on my plate. And you know what? We both felt better for it: emotionally, socially, and gastronomically. Isn't that called a win-win? 😉
