Flatiron Food, History & Architecture Tour

Sounds like an ideal day to me! "What a great way to explore and enjoy some of New York’s best and most unique food stops! And see two of New York’s most iconic and picturesque neighborhoods: Flatiron & Union Square. On this tour you will enjoy 6 tastings including a classic New York burger.
This tour begins with tastings at Caffe Lavazza and Eataly, Mario Batali’s epic artisanal Italian food emporium. After experiencing Eataly, we explore Madison Square Park and learn about its incredible history as well as take in some contemporary outdoor sculpture art. Then, you are rewarded with a burger from arguably one of the best burger joints in New York: Shake Shack or Schnipper's! Non-meat eaters will enjoy one of their specialty shakes. Next we stop for history and photo opportunities in front of the famous Flatiron Building. We continue on to the chic and delicious Obica Mozzarella Bar and then Beecher’s Cheese, where believe-it-or-not, they make cheese right in the middle of Manhattan! Here we enjoy a quick private tour and one of NYC’s best grilled cheese sandwiches. Then we walk through Union Square, learn a little about its history, and enjoy the Union Square Farmer’s Market. The last stop is Breads Bakery where you will sample their world famous chocolate babka warm and fresh from the oven!
The tour is 2.5 hours long and includes 6 gourmet tastings. PLEASE NOTE: You will walk less than a mile but comfortable walking shoes are a must.
