The Roadmap to Reduce Food Waste Registration, Wed, Mar 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM | Eventbrite

As many of you know, Foodstand has taken a big stance on food waste and we'd love to see our west coast friends join in on the discussions. #nofoodwaste On Wednesday March 9th, ReFED and Stanford’s FEED Collaborative, of the School of Earth, Energy and Environmental Sciences, will co-host a forum to advance the national dialogue on scalable solutions to address this issue and reduce food waste. The half-day event, featuring expert panel discussions, will highlight specific solutions to reduce food waste and the associated policy actions, innovations, financing mechanisms and education tools needed to put these solutions into action. The event will also feature a showcase of technology innovations.
As part of this forum, ReFED will launch The Roadmap to Reduce Food Waste, the first ever-national economic study of food waste developed by a multi-stakeholder group committed to creating a roadmap for action. The Roadmap, which highlights opportunities for reducing food waste in the United States, represents the collaborative efforts of over 30 business, nonprofit and government leaders committed to reducing food waste.
