Savory Lentil Soup idea, using "no food waste" kale stems
So chilly outside and this soup is fast and fantastic!!
Sauté some onions in olive oil, then add chopped garlic, chopped kale stems (kinda replaces celery), grated carrot and a spoonful of Spread-mmms olive tapenade. Add lentils, water, and bullion (optional -- I used Goya "sabor a jamon") and cook until lentils are tender.
Exact proportions don't matter, this soup is very forgiving!!!
Serve with some grated Romano or Parmesan cheese if you have some on hand.
Smells great, tastes greats, feels great!
