Everyone needs to read this. Thank you for sharing. I've encountered multiple big food executives who have told me they are helping hungry children in India with their products because how else are we supposed to feed the world. And my response has always been that your hyper processed "foods" are just going to make them sicker, along with the working, affluent class. I love that he boils down our need for simplified rules like kick the sugar. In the states, this message has been coupled closely with a need for more fresh fruits and veggies - because America hasn't had these products as a part of its culture of eating for the last 50 years. But in India, where mango is a treat, and local markets all have fresh produce, it will require a different positioning. I'm glad this was written!!

@Rachna sad but true. I guess taking a step backwards will actually help us move forward. Unfortunately , processed foods have become the new cool for the emerging class. They rather eat a bag of chips than a fresh fruit off the street. It's a strange situation ,really!

This is so important @garv! Thank you for posting. Healthy eating is all about moderation, not restriction or deprivation.
