DietID_TeamDietitians yes!! so many 'natural' products sneak in sweeteners. Definitely check the ingredient labels on the back of the package. The front of the package is all marketing =).

DietID_TeamDietitians My favorite no added sugar to-go snacks: larabars, maryâs Seed crackers with hummus, grapes, mixed nuts, and for a treat - almond butter-stuffed dates (2 of them will fill you up).

annefood No, you donât need to avoid lactic acid in the Avoid Added Sugar Challenge. Itâs used in fermentation (yogurt, pickled veggies, sourdough...) and as a preservative or flavoring agent.

annefood And lactose is an intrinsic sugar (not an added sugar) that is naturally occurring in dairy. So no need to worry about that either.
