jbergesen 6yr I think it’s a great idea! Seems like a perfect BCS science project. My son was telling me how tons of kids throw fruit, apple cores, etc in the trash at snack and lunchtime, so maybe if there was a compost bin in each class and in the cafeteria, he could collect the scraps and help you with it?

shezza 6yr Mmmhhh sounds like something I could do too, I have to carry all my food waste down to recycling bin, I have mobility issues and walk with a stick so having a worm farm to recycle food waste would be good

DietID_TeamDietitians 6yr @jbergesen @rjoseph852 - if you think BCS would be interested in a composting pick up service, there is a company called Unlimited Recycling that also does pick ups at Detroit Country Day. Perhaps it’s something that can be piloted?
