Friday night sweet tooth.. 3 bananas, 1/2 c peanut butter, 1/2 c cocoa Mix drop on cookie sheet in a table spoon. Bake 15 minutes yum!

Are there limitations on regulations when a product lists “no added sugar” like with other terms we see? ie: “organic” and “natural”.

  • annefood Great question @ingalls ! Supposedly no added sugar on a label means no honey, molasses, high-fructose corn syrup, malt syrup or cane syrup. There are many other sugars that therefore seemingly...

I tried vanilla extract in my oatmeal this am, as per foodstand’s tip, and it was delicious!!! Highly recommend

  • DietID_TeamDietitians yes!! so many 'natural' products sneak in sweeteners. Definitely check the ingredient labels on the back of the package. The front of the package is all marketing =).
  • annefood Awesome @ingalls! You’ll come to find that many companies slap “natural” on the label for impact, when the word doesn’t actually have any meaning. Great catch!
