I don't understand why this is such a good thing? Has anyone tried it? Is this really some big innovation?

brittanymbarton sounds awful. I've heard it described as drinking pancake batter. Not to mention I don't think it's possible to get adequate nutrition from it.
-
gingerandchorizo I don't think I can ever do that because I love eating too much ;-)
Wheatgrass - love it or hate it?
We grow and sell a good bit of wheatgrass, but have found it to be a polarizing crop as well. It's health benefits are very contested. Some swear by it, some swear against it. What are your thoughts?

olivettefarm @Rachna I've also yet to find any strong research on the benefits of it, a lot of it is still anecdotal at this point..to my knowledge at least. The breakdown of nutrients actually isn't that...

olivettefarm I've never used a QR code and I doubt most people would for their food. I think clear on package labeling is the very best option, but that will be a huge fight. In the mean time I think educating...

Food friends! How do you talk to non-food friends about meat?
I like to cook large hunks of (humanely raised) meat for celebratory gatherings (a consequence of my Chinese upbringing- rarely cook meat otherwise). But I always find myself stymied as to how to t...

DietID_TeamDietitians Great question! I usually bring it up as a part of explaining the menu including where the veggies came from, so it's not a political statement but rather just a statement of fact. Sometimes I...
-
tinabeans Great points all around @Rachna! Usually i just bring food to the table and let all have at it! But marking the start of the meal in a more intentional way may be in order :)
