Birkenstocks and Squash (a surprise!)

Last October I decided it would be a good idea to finally start composting.
So I dug a pit, made some borders and started throwing all my food scraps.
My composting experience taught me one thing: if you act like you know what you are doing, forget about it, and then pick up the pieces you might just find some squash waiting for you.
Well, in my case it was squash. For you it could be tomatoes or peppers but I got squash and thank you pacha mamma!
So, despite killing 99% of my seedlings and my rose garden efforts, I managed to actually grow something (even if on accident) that I can actually eat. Today is a good day.
