Real Food Real Stories Bookclub Launch

"Join us for the launch of the RFRS Book Club!
About RFRS Book Club: We will discuss reading materials, curated by our storytellers, to deepen our knowledge of the changes we seek to create within our food system. In addition to our live storytelling gatherings, we're bringing some of our favorite written stories, books, articles, literature, memoirs, etc. from inspiring changemakers to share with our RFRS community.
RFRS Book Club #1: Folks, This Ain't Normal, by Joel Salatin
Recommended by Karen Leibowtiz of The Perennial, the book we are reading together is Folks, This Ain't Normal by Joel Salatin. Join us for an engaging discussion about farmer and writer Joel Salatin and his book. (You may recognize Salatin as the radical chicken farmer from "The Omnivore's Dilemma" and the documentary "Food, Inc.").Our discussion will be based on the book, but ranges widely over issues related to farming, food, and sustainability. You do not have to read the whole book to participate -- all are welcome!
We will have light snacks available in the bar area of The Perennial.

Are there books you would like to share with our community? Bring them along and say a few words!
