The secret weapon for the after lunch sweet tooth: flavored teas. Double dark chocolate mate is my current favorite.
  • annefood Totally agree @LezEngel ! Tea saves me!
  • DietID_TeamDietitians Same!! Cinnamon tea is a current fave but I also have tried this passionfruit almond tea mix that I can't find anywhere else. It reminds me of honey bunches of oats 😍

  • akhilg2002 So true. If I have sugar (especially even the artificial sweeteners) it seems to make me crash hard and get so much more tired!
  • annefood I agree it's easy once you ditch 'em, but coming off of sweets is hard! I definitely have a sweet tooth, but feel SO much better without all that sugar.
  • KyFish Yep I totally agree. The first few days when I started cutting out sweets were definitely hard. But now that I'm well over the hump, I have so much more sustained energy.
