I opt for fingerling potatoes when they are available for speedy dinner options #kitchentips #FoodRevolution
I was feeling pretty sick, but a fresh dinner using fingerling potatoes actually is pretty quick because they don't take as long to cook, and they are easier to cut when you aren't feeling so hot

JenniferEmilson Some of my faves to cook up!!
Grilled tomatillos and carrots going into two dishes featuring ramps. Nothing looks better than grilled vegetables. 😋

Make sure your coal or wood is no longer producing flames but are perfect embers. Preheat your grill just like you would an oven for the best results. #kitchentips
Toss an entire bunch of leftover herbs with olive oil and roast them on a sheet pan for a crispy garnish

"I had no idea!"
Sauté chopped anchovies in the pan before starting a tomato sauce. They and saltiness and omega-3s.
And when the sauce is done you won't even know they're there! #kitchentips #tipoftheday

Riki Wow, what a strange but interesting idea !
Keeping in mind that my husband hates anchovies, or at least, believes he does
If in fact the anchovy flavor won t be apparent , May be it's worth a try 😅
Cook quinoa in broth for a richer, creamier dish.
Broth adds so much more flavor to grains than water does! I served fresh red snapper, green salad and tangy Meyer lemon salsa with the rich quinoa, and it balanced the dish perfectly. #kitchentips

JenniferEmilson Unless it's for breakfast I try to cook all grains in broth. My mom taught me that one!! You're right, it ups the depth and creaminess of grains, whether rice, quinoa, buckwheat, millet, etc

annefood I've never cooked buckwheat @JenniferEmilson, only the flour! I should try that.
-
gingerandchorizo I agree with @JenniferEmilson! And I am just posting a new salad recipe here with roasted buckwheat which is also cooked in veggie broth :)
Kale is rich in calcium! You don't have to drink milk, just eat your leafy greens!
For delicious kale chips, just toss chopped kale with olive oil, sea salt and pepper, and roast at 350 for about 10 minutes, checking often. #kitchentips
